Our mission is to improve the health, safety and well-being of all children living in homeless shelters throughout Massachusetts. We created this website in the hope that others could replicate this program in their State. Let's work together to keep kids safe across the US!
We created the Safe Shelter Program in 2014, after we noticed a number of emergency department visits due to injuries sustained by children living in homeless shelters.
